Title: HiMedia Wrapper and Kodi Player sound levels?
Post by: unclejoshc on October 08, 2017, 08:02:45 PM
Sorry if this has been address before, i tried searching but did not locate any posts on this problem.

The audio level when playing a video through the wrapper is much louder than the same video played through the Kodi player. Has anyone else noticed this?  Is there some sort of setting in Kodi that is causing the sound to be so much softer than the wrapper?

Thanks for any help

Josh

Nobody notices the volume level difference between the wrapper and the Kodi player?

I get the opposite,  The audio in the HiMedia Player is much queter than in the Kodi Player.  Which is annoying as the imagery in the HiMedia player are much clearer/smoother

I experience the same.
When playing movies with the Wrapper I need to crank up the volume of my receiver to get sufficient sound.
