Title: Unable to scroll in Chrome browser. Why? How to fix?
Post by: fox123 on September 23, 2017, 02:51:23 PM
I bought a player Himedia Q10 pro (Android 7 firmware 2.0.4 official) and I have a little problem with him and I would like a little help if you know how to solve the problem. I also bought a Rii RT-MWK25 (airmouse) remote controller and it bothers me that I can not scroll through the Chrome browser with either the original remote or Rii RT-MWK25 (I do not even see that scrollbar on the side in the browser). Do you have any idea why? Should I make any special settings? Or if I update the firmware 2.0.5 officiall (or custom) will I solve the problem? Or can I use another browser? Thank you.

You can scroll with the original keyboard using the up and down arrow, not the mouse function.

Using Rii MX3-M you can scroll up/down in Chrome using up/down d-pad buttons, the same as HiMedia IR remote.

I'm not familiar with Rii RT-MWK25 specifically.

I’m unable to scroll using keyboard or remote. Used to be able to, not now. What changed? Help

Did you upgrade the firmware? Maybe Chrome updated to a newer version.
What's the firmware and Chrome versions you have?

Hello Again

Apologies for delay. Have had major problems trying to get nvidia shield back up to copy to Himedia. As such the above problem became back burner. That’s still not resolved but appears it’s a problem on leia that back up isn’t reading copy to temp file prior to trying unzip. 🥺

Answering this I’m running 2.1.4 cfw, chrome 54.0.2840.68 hopefully that helps. In the distant past I seem to recall this problem which was fixed by ticking or unticking a box on a add on I assume, but can find reference to that fix anywhere.

Thanks hope this helps you to help me

I have the latest CFW 2.1.7 and Chrome version 89.0.4389.90, scroll is working with my Logitech K400 keyboard both mouse and arrow keys.
