WD Green works, 100% verified.
It must be a drive format problem. See here: http://www.futeko.com/newforum/index.php?topic=932.0

Try connecting every up (HDD in Q10 Pro, USB cable between PC and Q10 Pro), letting PC boot up, and then finally powering up Q10 Pro.
The linked format method is not necessary, really any drive formatted GPT/NTFS should work.
In Windows drive managment, is there a drive info screen that you could post a screengrab of? So I can see how the drive is formatted.

Attached is the snip as requested. Thanks

Is the partition table GPT? See here: https://www.howtogeek.com/245610/how-to-check-if-a-disk-uses-gpt-or-mbr-and-how-to-convert-between-the-two/

The partition table was MBR . Now having followed your command line instructions it is GPT. Whats next.
