My Q10 Pro box is currently on CFW 5.1.1 (build 1.1.0 by pcristi). The problem is I cannot revert to Official firmware 5.1.1 (build 1.1.0) by flashing the official firmware 1.1.0. The fixing droid logo appears, but gives "Error" and resets the box.
Similarly, I cannot upgrade from the CFW to Android 7, using the upgrade instructions (i.e. by flashing Android 7 2.0.1 --> 2.0.3 --> 2.0.4). Upgrading from the CFW to 2.0.1 already gives "Error" and resets the box.
Can somebody please help me? I can't seem to undo this CFW 5.1.1 (build 1.1.0 by pcristi)!
[Solution]: What worked for me is that instead of only powering off and powering on the box, I totally unplugged and re-plugged the power cable of the box while holding the reset/upgrade button on the back!

Hi,
Have you tried with another USB flash drive? Wich method are you using, the restore button method? Have you tried the upgrade function in settings?

I've been flashing firmwares back and forth with no problem, except this time from the CFW 5.1.1 ver 1.1.0.
I hope I don't have to send it back.

I haven't tried with another USB drive. If all fails, I'll try it. Thanks for the recommendation.
Re method, I've always used the restore button method, which should be always better than the upgrade function, am I right?

Yes, it's the preferred method but I've done upgrades via settings menu with no problems. I'm asking because it could give you a clue for what might be happening, could give you an error message with more information.
Himedia has on it's site a firmware version to upgrade directly from Android 5 to 7 version 2.04, it's probably a complete firmware package. I didn't tried it and didn't read anything about it in this forum but it should be safe to use (giving the source).

What worked for me is a complete unplug and replug of the power cable of the box while holding the reset/upgrade button, instead of only powering off. Thanks for your help!!
