Title: streaming and cast to device problem

I can cast any file size/format to my Q5 from my windows 10 pc. However from my windows 10 laptop, I can cast films less than 1gb but no larger, also can't cast Mp3 music files, I get an message from the Q5 saying 'unknown play error'. The Q5 and laptop can both 'see' each other on the network and streaming settings are all done.
Addition : I can cast any size/type of file from my laptop to my TV.
Can anyone help?

not sure why you would want to cast from a PC at all?

I would suggest a better way is to turn on Samba (if you have not already done so) and use the Q5 and your remote, to locate files from the network for playback.
I playback 45Gb iso files this way from the network and can use MediaCenter or Kodi to locate the files (from multiple devices including NAS).
