Hi all,
i'm looking for use netflix 1080p via Himedia Q5 Pro.
I don't understand if using Chromecast, i can view movies in FHD.
I'm thinking this configuration:
- Q5 with Netflix App. Run this app and then choose Chromecast as streaming. This can bypass Q5 limit (Widevine L3) to view Netflix movies in 1080p?
Thanks all.

Nope, Chromecast have DRM L1 and is Netflix certificated .

Thanks looun, you are speedy gonzales!
I'm sorry, my english is poor.
Do You mean it's possible or not?
I mean, i know chromecast is Netflix certificated to stream FHD (with Standard Chromecast) and UHD (with ULTRA Chromecast).
So, can i use a standard chromecast, and send movie from Q5 to chromecast to view it in FHD?
Thx

yes, q5 is normal "smartphone" (android os), but i think is not comfortable. a real smartphone is better .

Exactly. Why not use a smartphone/tablet and send it to Chromecast? If you use the same TV for Chromecast and TV box, it will not be practical in this configuration.
