Title: Android 7 SATA uses sda2 or sdb2 on boot
Post by: captinmike on July 15, 2017, 03:37:09 PM
Just upgraded to Android 7 from Android 5.1 everything mostly works fine. I use two drives, one is internal the other connected to USB 3. I assume the internal drive is listed as SATA in file manager. The problem is, each time I turn the Q10PRO on, the label is not consistent, sometimes its sda2, which is what I want and others its sdb2 which messes KODI up because my files are no longer in the right place. To solve this I have to reboot and this hopefully changes the SATA label back to sda2.

Is this a bug or is there a setting I can use to solve the problem, this didn't happen in Android 5.1.

Hi

I have the same problem which also messes with my Kodi..

for example in Kodi I use Bello 6 skin and use stored images for the menu backgrounds, however when the drive gets renamed Kodi no longer finds the shortcut until the next re-boot when all is correct again..

It would be better if mountpoints were consistent by default, but this patch is a fix: http://www.futeko.com/newforum/index.php?topic=1421.0
