hi there, this problem didn't exist before 2.0.0 - and still isn't fixed
I have a few network drives accessible via LAN (SAMBA) and uPnP w/o a problem
also have a computer accessible via NFS (it's a mac I cannot use SMB - known bug or is it solved already?)
all these are shortcuttable
then when I need real fast access i want to use NFS - one of my network drives will causes the system to hang after reaching it's NFS folder (browsing NFS)
the other one is just fine. also shortcut will hang the system (again with the first one not second one). they are of the same make and they both worked before FW 2.0.x
frustrating.

Thanks for the info.
I can't replicate the problem here but I will pass on the information to HiMedia.

well it's a special bug, (i also reported it to hi media when i upgraded to 2,0,3 as until that time it just worked)....
i have to Westerndigital Network drives (MyBook and MyCloud). both worked with all protocol in previous FW versions,
now the MyCloud (the newest piece of hardware) works only for SMB(Lan), uPnP and not with its NFS server (which is my main mode of usage due to speed). the NFS server on the mycloud works with other machines on my network, naturally, it's a FW issue as it worked before....
I also have a mac mini I stream from via nfs without a hitch,
thank you
ps. if you want to replicate you need a network drive with an NFS server (preferably MyCloud from WD) or maybe two Network drives with NFS on them. I would also connect to a pc/mac via nfs to simulate the situation.
