Hi there.
i own the Q10 pro and i want to upgrade to ANDROID 7.
When i try to unzip the updade file 2.01, half way through the unzip process i get the following messages :
"Do you want to replace the Arcturus.ogg 7933 bytes with arcturus.ogg 7908 bytes"
the same with Vega.ogg with verga.OGG etc etc from then on
This takes place in the next 2.03 update, as well
Should i replace the existing files or not .
Please advise on correct process.
Thank you in advance.

Delete the existing update.zip file from the destination before unzipping the new one.
-
And use 7zip if you're running Windows.
-
WinRar works too. ;)
-
I don't have any existing file. In the process itself it appears these messages.
-
What unzip app are you using?
I recommended 7zip because it's free, fast and I know it works.
-
I use the winrar but i don't understand how it's possible to ask me if i want to replace files that just been unzipped within the process
-
Don't need to extract update.zip to follow restore/update process.
If you really want to extract for others propose use Linux file system witch have case sensitive files system or just ignore over written message.

Not only are named differently but also have different size

Why different size? Is can happens on many Android SDK to get a same notification/alarms/ringtones sound on different versions to be included because of case sensitive Linux files system, of course usually is a mistake.
To match effort put on this topic for nothing, Android don't have any problems to manage notification sound like Arcturus.ogg, arcturus.ogg, Vega.ogg, vega.ogg only extract on Windows create troubles.
