Title: external harddrive help

hi just installed spmc working fine but i have connected a external seagate harddrive and the q5 does not detect it
i have tried all usb inputs

How is it formatted? Is it an USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 device? What does it mean that SPMC does not detect it? Does it appear in the system and you do not know how to browse it? I do not remember by heart where the system mounts devices.

2.0 / does not show up in file manager   like it does on my minix box

This from FAQ might help:

* Drive mount location? All apps except the HiMedia file browser and player use Android file structure. All directories and locations are subdirectories of root, which is symbolised as /. This is different for Android 5.1 and Android 7 firmwares. For Android 5.1: External drives are located at /mnt/sda/sda1 (Q10 Pro internal HDD only) and  /mnt/sdb/sdb1 then /mnt/sdb/sdb2 etc (all USB drives). For Android 7: External drives are located at /mnt/media_rw/sda1 (Q10 Pro internal HDD only) and  /mnt/media_rw/ (all USB drives)
