Today received notification of a pending upgrade,went ahead with it and everything was ok, upgrade completed then rebooted and when completed all information was in chinese, managed by guessing and managed to get it in english, had to start from scratch as if I had just got it of the box! problem is I cannot connect to wifi..... no available networks! connected via ethernet to connect to internet.
 Checked OTA and it said download failed, unplugged unit and rebooted then it displays latest version installed.

Not confident everything is ok as still some banners are in chinese and cannot connect to wifi.

Would it be wise to  factory default and start a fresh. any help or advice greatly appreciated

I would do a factory reset followed with a manual emergency flash procedure (pressing the reset at the back during power-on).

Thanks for your reply, is that all  I need to do,just press the reset with power on.
