I noticed this was asked elsewhere but didn't see an answer, is there a way to control the boxes (to replicate the remote control functions) over IP.
I use some home automation software which could allow me to control the Himedia box from my home automation touchscreen. It works for XBMC but it would be great if the Himedia box had a similar option to connect over IP and control the navigation functions, allowing me to browse, play, pause etc.
Thanks.

This has been asked before. It's certainly going to be possible, but Himedia won't release the necessary information on how to do it.
The Hicontrol Android app will allow you to control M3/Q5/Q10 remotely though. It's in the download section here: http://www.futeko.com/newforum/index.php?topic=56.0

I've tried the android app Hicontrol and it crashes when it connects to the M3 box.
What about a web server control option, is that possible?
