Title: Dolby Vision demo clips

Hi,

I own OLED LG tv (2016) and i can play Doby Vision videos from LG just fine via internal TV player. But when i try to play same video via Himedia Q5 Pro (firmware 2.0.3) i get black screen (sound plays fine). Is it normal ? i thought that Himedia Q5/Q10 Pro are dolby vision certified and advertised as dolby vision capable

Himedia Q5/Q10 Pro do not support Dolby Vision and support is unlikely (although not impossible) to come in future.

We haven't advertised Dolby Vision support since the initial pre-order in March/April 2016 when there was confusion caused by chipset vs. product specs.

There is no mention of Dolby VIsion support on official HiMedia websites.

If your reseller has misled you about Dobly Vision I suggest you take it up with them and the platform (Amazon/Ebay etc) they sell on.
