Hello pcristi,
I updated Q10 Pro to FW 2.0.3 and some apps such as: hbo, hulu... detecting that rooted box so they can not play. In your test NFPRoot FW (1.0.9 and 2.0.1), Some Streaming apps play like a charm. Can you continue making NFPRoot FW 2.0.3 for Q10 Pro? If you can, Please make NFPRoot with update&themed FW. Thank you so much!

NFPRoot fix is included on update&themed v2.0.3 and repack update&themed v2.0.1.

What changes did you make to the firmware for this NFPRoot fix? I'd rather not flash a firmware (especially since I am on 1.1.10 and I only saw 1.0.9, 2.0.1 and 2.0.3) but what steps did you take to get this NFPRoot fix in? Maybe I can do this to the currently installed firmware? Or is this "just"the removal of the su binary in /system/xbin ??

Thank pcristi. All Streaming apps work!!!

Unfortunately this did not resolve the problems I am having with the Ziggo GO app. Although I had hoped it would but it appears the app is hindered by some other problem. Oh well.

Did you remove and reinstall apps and Ziggo GO still reported rooted?

I am having the exact same problem with the Ziggo GO app. Also, the RTLXL app will play only an occasional strem but most streams will present a "buffering" animation and will stay that way.
My Sophos A/V app and some other apps report the HiMedia device (I have a Q10 Pro) as Rooted and officially Ziggo does not support rooted devices, nor does RTL. It might be this is what is causing the videos to not be played. It might be that the DRM is preventing us from playing on our rooted devices.
Thing is that apps that can check if you are rooted or not tell me that my Q10 Pro is not rooted and any apps that could try and hide the root state also report the device is not rooted and thus can not hide root and thus nothing changes for me in this status quo.
If anyone has any solution to this issue, that would be great.
The problem however is that both the Ziggo Go app, as the various RTL apps are really horrible pieces of coding. The Ziggo Go app has improved somewhat but the stuff that the publisher of the RTL apps craps out is really a crash site of randy coding.

No. Nothing of the sort. The app is not reporting the device is rooted. Instead it refuses to play video and it was showing a poor man's way of preventing playback. I assumed it was caused by some false detection of root. I will try reinstalling the app and see if it changes.
