Post by: Richardthai on April 16, 2017, 10:10:39 PM
Is it possible to connect  -5GHz  on  the himedia q10 pro.     My mobile  and  tablet is it works well.   Wifi  connect  : ZiggoEB41E17-5G.

Yes it is dual band, AC included.
Also the latest firmware changelog (2.0.3) advises:
"14. Optimized WI-FI stability and increased WI-FI speed"

I use Ethernet for stability as all wifi can be prone to network issues with high bitrate audio/video file transfer.

Yes, the Wi-fi is dual band so you can select either 2.4 Ghz or 5 GHz SSIDs.  That being said, and the fact that the box can operate with 802.11ac interface, it appears that the antenna is only 1 x 1.  My connection speed at about 10 ft from a Linksys EA9500 router is in the 400 - 433 Mbps range.  Someone who knows more can correct if I'm wrong.

5gz working fine , although you might have to play with the  channel width  , not all 5gz spectrum supported , 36-48 channels definitely working.
