Hello,
I just received a q10 pro 16gb device to replace my current q10 and I have a couple of questions about the new device :
1) the new q10 pro is running android 5.1 and the whole UI interface (homepage) is monochrome (black and white) while my q10 has a colored UI and I am seeing also colored UI on q10 pro video on YT so do I have a custom firmware installed or is it normal ? (wrapper is not listed in the application list)
2) I found the q10 pro quite slower & not snappy compare my q10 running kitkat, the video frame rate seems to drop more often and I can see like a flickering, overall the playing experience is not as smoother (during streaming) as the q10, I am wondering if it is something known and if I could fix it by upgrading to android 7 ?
Thank you

1. You've not bought the Q10 Pro from us because it has a custom firmware installed. The interface you describe is not the official one. If wrapper is not listed in My Apps then I have no idea which firmware it is, it's not the CS custom firmware we feature on this forum. Which creates a bit of a problem because without knowing what's installed any firmware change is going to be a bit risky. I suggest contacting your retailer and asking them what firmware is installed and which firmware it is safe to update to.
2. Q10 Pro is much faster through the interface and menus than Q10 4K3D. There should be no flickering. Again, contact your reseller and get them to advise which official firmware to install.

Thank you very much,
I have already contacted the re-seller of course, what is puzzling me thought is that the device information is displaying HMD-1.1.0 2017-03-15.164418 which seems to come from Himedia but maybe not...

The interface sounds like the CS custom firmware, it's the lack of wrapper that makes me think it isn't.
If you have 1.1.0 installed it's Android 5.1 and you should be safe following the instructions on this forum for moving from Android 5.1.
There should be a new Android 7 firmware later today, so you might want to try that.

Today is the day? Cool!
Just before a long long weekend in UK&IE. Fun playing or a good cry if the new release is bad ;)

It will be official 2.03 and similar in what it fixes to the 2.0.3 test release.

I am just pasting 2 screenshots of the UI in case it means something to somebody...
