Hi, I'm kinda new to Android. I have a Q5 Pro. Sometimes I have 5 buttons (didn't count) below the screen. Two loudspeakers on the far left and right, a triangle, square and s circle. I don't know what I do/did to make them appear and I don't know how to make them disappear. So how do I get rid of that ribbon of buttons when they appear? Thanks.

Bump LOL surely somebody knows how to activate/deactivate this menu?

If you're using remove rxii it's kinda easy: click on the lower part of the movie screen and move down. With a bit of exercise you will get the move.

How did make it come up in the first place? It looks like it has a life of its own.

I know i can swipe up the movie and it happens. But I'm sure there's another "subtle" way cause my daughter doesn't do the swipe move on the remote. So it has a life of itself, i agree!

This method gets rid of the navigation bar entirely in Android 7 firmwares 2.0.1 and later (custom and official): http://www.futeko.com/newforum/index.php?topic=812.msg15237#msg15237

The first time I tried to install the update.zip to remove the notification bar, it just froze. Thank god it wasn't bricked. I then manually installed the newest firm ware and then I tried again and all appeared good but changed nothing. I have given up. I think I will try and manually install a custom firmware, hear these are much better. Also after I reinstalled the firmware I had to set up again my micro sd card. I have used up a lot of time on this box, I guess it keeps me from getting in trouble..lol

@Paulo72
"froze"? --> Did you choose a right version 2.0.1 for f/w 2.0.1 and 2.0.3 for f/w 2.0.3, if by mistake take wrong version will to stack on HiMedia logo.
"all appeared good but changed nothing"? --> Did you apply from Settings/Upgrade/Local Upgrade/USB_1?

I believe I chose the correct version. After all of the work getting it all set up again, I'm scared of trying it again. If would be nice if there was an option to have the navigation bar placed at the top of the screen, on the bottom is get in the way when watching a video.
