Hello, all.
When using the wrapper It completely ignores the Kodi setting which overrides the default audio stream to that of an English stream, as well as ignoring the play next video setting.
Am i missing something?

Yes, if you use the wrapper, it actually uses the in-built MediaCenter as the player. This overcomes any Kodi issues (like HD audio). When it finishes, it throws back to Kodi.
The remote control has a button for language (bottom right hand side) and sub-titles (bottom left hand side) so you can change these while the movie is playing.

Thanks for filling me in. Seems the Wrapper isn't all that useful really. I don't have 7.1 or HDR. Just bog standard DTS (HD), DD & 1080p in 5.1

You can toggle the use of the wrapper ON/OFF using the Wrapper APP. It can also be uninstalled (and re-installed) if more convenient.

Thanks but when I toggle the wrapper to off I don't get any sound at all. Garbage. I wish I'd paid the extra for a Shield now

That's with standard Kodi 17+.
You get 5.1 channel sound max from Kodi 16.1 and the 'shitty' (unfortunate name - all they do is put back some of the stuff Kodi removed in version 17 including the old HD-Audio passthrough method) builds of Kodi 17.1.
Kodi changed and broke a lot of stuff with Kodi 17. All manufacturers are struggling to catch up. HiMedia will be amongst the first to get it all working properly. See here for Kodi audio change explanation: http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=289735
Links to the latest 'shitty' builds are in the opening post of the above Kodi forum thread.

Thanks, chief
So if I wanted a temporary fix, which build should I install?
