Hi,
I'm new with kodi and have the himedia q10pro with the streamnu build.
I set the wrapper to hiplayer as default.
I connect/import my movies from my NAS in Mylibrary.
I try to play a movie with the following format:
Audio: Engels (DTS-HDMA.5.1)
-.Video: 1808*1080
(jackie).
But i get a error : video error and need to confirm.
Should i change a setting?
The movie is playing on my mede8er player :)
second question:
if a change the filename name on my NAS how can i manage that the library refresh immediately ?
Kind Regards,
Bianca Manglie

Does the same file play using the HiMedia Media Center app?

Hi,
.....
second question:

Perform an "update library" function in Kodi. This can vary depending on what Kodi version you are running (and even what skin you have installed)?

No neither.....second movie is not playing on the himedia.. format x264 mkv .Audio: Engels (DTS-HDMA 7.1 + TrueHD 7.1)
-.Video: 1920x1040

They are both videos with unusual aspect ratios. There is a similar known bug with 4K videos, so perhaps it's related. What is the HDMI output resolution set to? 2160p?
What might also help is if you could run mediainfo on the files and post what it reports. MKV is just a container so the video codec might shed some light. https://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo

It is very rare for a Blu-ray movie to have both DTS-HA and TrueHD 7.1 audio tracks for the same movie. The standard is for either one or the other.
Dare we ask where this file came from since it is a non-standard video format as well?
I'd suggest installing VLC player and/or MX Player from the PlayStore and see if they can handle the strange formats? Your problems may be more file related than the player.
