Title: Himedia Q10 Pro Resolution Output Problem [FIXED]
Post by: klaas503 on March 12, 2017, 12:16:01 PM
Hi folks,

I have the Himedia Q10 Pro connected to my LG 27MU67 which supports the 3840x2160 resolution @ 60 Hz.
I used the HDMI cable included in the box, but I cannot choose more than 30Hz in the HImedia q10 menu at 3840x2160.
If I choose a higher frequency the screen goes blank and it goes back to 30Hz.

Does anybody know what is the problem here?  The LG also has a display port with the same technical rating, but I
don't know if that is a better port to try? (havent got a DP cable)

My box is running on the most recent firmaware HMD-2.0.1 2017-01-10-164949
Android 7.0

Thank you for any information.

Ton.

The included cable is HDMI 2.0 and can cope with 4K 60Hz.

Hi,

Thank you all for the replies. I have found my problem!  It had to do with my Lg monitor.
In settings I had to choose "HDMI Ultra HD Deep Color" ON.  Once I did that I got the 60Hz option @ 3840x2160P.

Hope this helps for more people!
