Hi, I have the Q10 , a couple of things that you could try are 1. go into settings and display and try the various options for me 2160p 30hz (will depend on your tv).  The other option is to try to turn off "Alow hardware acceleration - MediaCodec (surface)" in Kodi settings > Player settings.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply. I turned off the mediacodec yesterday and although it's definitely improved the stutter is still there from time to time. Will try your other digestion when I get home from work thanks

I think you will find the source can have something to do with it too so its not always the box or kodi at fault.

Have a read through this for the "playercorefactory.xml" solution.
Although it does not say to do this, I found it necessary to reboot the machine after adding this file otherwise it would not work.
