Hello community,
Have been for some weeks now also owner of the Q10pro. Runs (almost) everything as it should.
I would like now of the TV (Sony KDL26EX555) in the bedroom (which is connected by LAN with Fritzbox 7490)
on the internal HDD of the Q10pro (also connected by LAN with Fritzbox 7490).
When i search on the TV for MediaServers he finds the Q10pro also, and shows him as "TV Box@37 (HIMEDIA)".
But obviously only the folder "sdcard" is released. My question is: What do i have to do
MediaCenter ---> LAN ---> Add share ---> Server IP; Directory; Account; Password; Shortform ???
Or is that at all the correct solution approach to access from the network to the Q10pro ???
And before i get scolded here, YESSSSS ... I've read or looked in the forum. Have however found nothing suitable
or i can't see the forest for trees.

This is pretty easy. Activate Samba from the general settings (I cannot quite remember where it can be found). Do you want to access contents from the Q10 pro (SD card and internal HDD) from your TV?

Yes, Samba is activated on the Q10pro. Yes, i want to access the contents of the internal HDD.
It 's only the folder "sdcard" is released...but not the folder "sda2" (/mnt/media_rw/sda2).
What am i doing wrong? :-\

The problem is with DLNA server that comes with the firmware. I have seen the same issue myself with my smart TV. The smart TVs are not using Samba to access it, but they use DLNA. This is a known bug that has been sent to HiMedia. Just read here http://www.futeko.com/newforum/index.php?topic=923.0. Futeko has provided some clues and answers.
