I would also like to know this, as much prefer SPMCm especially with how unstable Kodi 17 is with the wrapper/box.

Not tested, but the wrapper can be manually installed to an installation of Kodi not at default location (i.e. SPMC) by copying the playercorefactory.xml file to SPMC's userdata folder.

For Kodi 17 see this post: http://www.futeko.com/newforum/index.php?topic=710.msg13417#msg13417

You will need to figure out what the SPMC userdata folder is called. It will be /Android/data/org.SOMETHINGTHATISNOTXBMC/files/.kodi/userdata

Tested and copying the wrapper file makes SPMC able to use the wrapper so 7.1 HD audio passes correctly   ;D

Copy the playercorefactory.xml file from your Kodi directory:  Android/data/org.xbmc.kodi/files/.kodi/userdata
to the SPMC directory:   Android/data.com.sempermax.spmc16/files/.spmc/userdata

I simply did this from my PC using the network share :)
