Title: No pass through for PCM 24/48 audio.
Post by: omega3 on January 19, 2017, 06:58:09 PM
I have Q10 Pro connected to AVR Denon X2300W

I listen a lot of HD Flac music with Himedia Music Plater.

I've just noticed that himedia device doesn't passthough music at 48 Khz, I've noticed this because of 2 things:
1) 5.1 flac 24/48 are downmixed to 2.0 to my AVR
2) When playing any 24/48 flac, I can adjust the volume with the Himedia Remote (I shoudn't be able if passthough was correct)

By the other side, if I play 24/96, 24/192, passthough works fine.

To listen 24/48 Multichannel audio I have to convert first to 24/96 with Foobar on my PC, then send to Q10 Pro.

I have the same issue with Android 7 (2.0.0) and Android 5.0 (1.0.9).

Both version of android.

My AVR doesn't show if 16 bit of 24 bit.

It just show Frequency.

FLAC 6 Channels 24 Bit 48 KHz are shown as "PCM 2/0/0 48 KHz".

If I convert those flac files with foobar and resample to 88, 96 or 192 Khz, they are correctly shown as "PCM 3/2/1 88 (96) (192) KHz"
