Hi folks,
I received my q10 pro yesterday and fitted my 2tb drive and formatted it using the guide from the faq.
I also turned on samba in the settings
I can see the internal sdcard with all the system files on it on my network but not the media drive.
I also installed the ftp server which i confess i know nothing about and can connect to the internal drive using it but again no media drive.
Any ideas? I'm sure its probably a noob thing but I'm at a loss.

Ok I was being a noob, I have found it, its called Mediar/w
My issue now is when I try to copy to that folder it says there is not enough free space >:(
The drive is 2tb and my source is 1tb so what the hell am I doing wrong now?

I suspect that your box is running an old firmware and that you didn't buy it from us?!
The 'Samba reports incorrect total space' bug has been resolved in FW 2.0.0 and later. I suggest installing either that firmware.

I purchased it from ebay before discovering this forum sorry.
I did however upgrade the unit to Android 7 following the thread from FAQ
Does that also change the firmware?

Does that also change the firmware?
Yes. You should be able to copy over Samba up to the full size of the Q10 Pro internal HDD.
-
It doesn't I have only been able to transfer by USB.
I can connect and moved files from folder to folder in the samba share, and delete and rename files and folders but if I try to move stuff from another source it says there is not enough free space.
Minor annoyance really at the moment.
