This is about private movies. I've got plenty of short footage (2-15 minutes long) gathered into single folder of external USB3.0 drive.
There are several such folders, each presents data for specific event on specific day, something like:
folders:
- 'HD_Movies\2016' \ '2016-10-12 Glasgow' \
- 'HD_Movies\2016' \ '2016-10-13 Gainsborough' \
files:
- 2016-10-12 10-21-34.m2ts
- 2016-10-12 12-22-54.m2ts
- 2016-10-12 13-25-51.m2ts
I wonder if anybody can advice how to proceed with such task:
To create menu file on HDD (available to open by any browser or by Chrome) to let Q10 jump to specific year / day / event and then to play all files from this folder or to play files starting from the selected one onward. I would imagine something like: open disk / select folder / select subfolder / play subfolder or select file to play.
I don't want to use KODI for this, I'd like to use Media Center, i hope it is possible to drive it from Chrome or some file browser for example.
It would be perfect to create some file on subfolder, pointing-out the last watched file, in order to start next play round with the previous scene, to make search for last file easy.
Does anybody succeed with similar job and would be so kind to share his experience?
Is any tool to create such menu?
Any idea would be appreciated.
Q10 doesn't play several files in row, when I pick some file it is played but then player is closed and I need to choose another file.
I guess I need to create playlist for playing several files one by one without bothering user for some input.
Does anybody know how to build on the Q10 very simple playlist?
