Title: Q10II problem
Post by: CurioCT on May 07, 2015, 01:03:42 PM
Hi Guys,

Just ordered a Himedia m3 as a replacement to my Q10II from you guys looking forward to that might even get a second if if it works as well as it seems.

I have had some serious problems with the Q10II it will boot but locks up and with a 'rainbow distorted' screen I have tried flashing various firmwares from all over the internet Himedia / the vendor other sources and nothing fixes the problem.

I havent found any way to flash the device with full repartitioning i.e. an obsolute reset to the way it was when I bought it the device was rooted so it is possible some things are persistant past flashing but in reality I think it is a hardware issue.

This started before the end of the first year warranty which has now passed and the vendor himedia in germany ignored all my emails. it is possible to get this looked at by you guys / repaired? if so can someone message me about how /costs etc etc

additionally is the q10ii model the same hardware as the newer 3d models?

Thanks in advance

We can't offer any help in terms of fixing your Q10II. It's a product we never sold and we have no support resources for it.

The Q10II is different hardware to the Q10 4K3D. It's older. As here: http://www.iboum.com/pr/himq102.php

This German forum appears to have the latest firmware: http://www.android-mediaplayer.de/index.php/Thread/947-Original-FW-1-10-f%C3%BCr-Q10ii-bei-myhdplayer/
