Hi,
I have HiMedia Q10 Pro and I have a problem.
I'm using Kodi (v16.1 Jarvis) on the device.
I 've attached 3 external disks to the device (with an internak HDD too).
Every time I start the machine and startup Kodi, the letters assigned to these attached USB drive's change : SDA, SDB, SDC, SDE etc..)
What is that ? Is it a problem from OS (Linux), or from Android version (mine is Android 5.1), or firmware (mine is 1.0.8-FUTEKO-EN. HMD-1.0.8 2016-10-12.193826)
If you help by chance, I will be very happy.
Thanks.

This is typical Android behavior. I have hopes this will/can be replaced by Volume Labels on Nougat with the integrated file browser at least. Have seen it working on competing products so it can be done. The N Beta in fact made it worse as even SDA, SDB now change and not only the letters. This to confuse the public, but obviously is already being worked on.
It is then up to everybody to give them meaningful nice labels. How KODI deals with it then?

Hi and thanks,
I will wait Nougat released version for that.
I haven't asked to Kodi for this problem but I will ask.
Thanks a lot.
