Hello!
Sometimes I tend to watch some IPTV channels with the Simle IPTV Add-On in KODI. Some channels play fine like 5 minutes, but then they just become buggy: some channels will have the audio way out of sync, some become unwatchably stuttery and buffering like hell constantly. I have checked the same channels with VLC Player on my Winows laptop, and they're just working fine.
Any advises for me with KODI or Himedia settings that I should try to change?
And does any others in here experiencing the same poor performance while watching IPTV streams? ???
Thank you!

Hi There
did you ever get a reply. . Exactly my problem and want to resolve this. Have no PQ bugs, just every x amount of mins will stutter/ buffer and eventually fall out. Doesnt matter which Iptv service.Im aware ultimately there are adjustments to be made in advanced settings, ( seen youtube regarding caching the stream, etc )but initially want to get best available just by tinkering with kodi as is. Must be many adjustments within kodi, afterall they have an entire setting for live TV, so know of its popularity and that requires tailor adjustments.
thanks anyone

I have found the solution a long time ago:
In KODI settings: Disable media mediacodec (surface) this will help with video stutter.
It is in video settings - acceleration, it's enabled as default.
It works in KODI 16.1, and it should work in the "Shitty build" and in SPMC maybe. Not sure if it will work 100% in KODI 17 (maybe you would need the latest 2.0.4 CFW for this), but have a try. :)
