Title: DELETE FAIL

HELLO.
I HAVE A HIMEDIA Q5 IV 4K3D AND HAVE SERIOUS PROBLEMS WITH DELETING FILES. ACTUALLY I CAN'T DELETE ANYTHING FROM MY INTERNAL MEMORY, IT GIVES ME THE MESSAGE "DELETE FAIL". PLEASE HELP ME BECAUSE I DON'T KNOW WHAT I CAN DO. I HAVE THE LASTEST FIRMWARE 3.0.3.

PS: CAN I FLASH THE BOX AND INSTALL A STOCK ANDROID??

What app are you using to delete files?

If you install 'ES File Explorer' from Play Store can you delete files using this?

Firmware can be reinstalled and box reset to factory state using the download and instructions here: http://www.futeko.com/newforum/index.php?topic=493.0

i use es explorator. i made the update firmware. last night i tried to do like said in that topic that tou sent me(i found it on himedia site to section suport). When starts on the screen shows starting erasing but after that stops and it does nothing but start again the box. i checked if this deleted those folders and files and it doesn't. i tried to delete them myself and still nothing. i really don't know what to do. i start to think that the flash memory is broken.

After the failed update are you are able to boot the box again as normal?

What happens if you try a factory reset from the player GUI. i.e. Settings - More - Backup&reset - factory reset?
