Title: How do i get wall paper for my movies from external hard drive

I have a Q5 pro and play movies from my external hard drive. How do i show movie art instead of the movie names? Can it even be done?

Assuming you are referring to Kodi movie covers:

Did you choose Videos - Files - Add videos - Browse - Root filesystem / mnt /sda /sdb2 (or similar name) /your movie folder  -OK - OK?
After that you have to select what will contains the directory (presumably Movies).  Select Movies  and after you start to update the library, the covers will appear.

You need to use Kodi.

The interface is much better than Himedia Media Center and since wrapper is pre-installed (so playing files with Himediaplayer) there is no disadvantage to using Kodi for browsing media.  http://kodi.wiki/view/Quick_start_guide
