Post by: martinoo on October 10, 2016, 10:18:38 PM
Hi all
I have Q5 and last oryginal frimware ( August ) and installed wraper - sorry my English is not very good I am from Poland.
My question:
When I watch the move  with hdd in Media Center I can download online subtitles only in English languages
Can I change path or link that the downloaded subtitles in another language?
With the level Media Center I can not change
Best Regards
Marcin

The subtitle download function will download subtitles according to the Android system language. So if you change this to Polish you should get Polish subtitles.

You need to install BETA HiMediaVideoPlayer app with multi language subtitle download.

or
(UNOFFICIAL) HiMediaVideoPlayer 1.0.6_HMD_0823_Release with fix for exnternal and Poliah

After you have HiMediaVideoPlayer 1.0.6_HMD_0823 on your box, download subtitles will work base on Android language.

Oops. Pcristi is correct. The subtitle download Himediaplayer was not included with FW 1.0.7.

I recommend installing his unofficial version: http://www.futeko.com/newforum/index.php?topic=812.msg8998#msg8998

Sub download version will be in next official firmware.

When installed it will:
- Download subtitles (from unmentioned resources) for the Default language set for the OS + English
- Subtitles for many languages with not be found for many (older) movies is my experience (Dutch hardly, Spanish occasionally)
- It will download 20 subtitles max. If 20 or more subtitles are found for the Default Language no English subs will be found.
- Impossible to judge which file might work correctly as the original filename is not revealed (short name only)
We hope the next version will do a lot better.
