Hey guys. I have the Q10 Pro and love it. It makes networking so easy with the switch to turn on Samba and then it shows up on my home network. I have a second older box that doesnt have that Samba option in settings. I have a 4TB external drive connected to this box that I'm trying to access using my Windows 10 PC network. I download movies upstairs and normally send them down to that box but it's not showing up under network. Is there an easy program that will let me access the HD like the Q10 Pro does? Thank you! :D

There are a few, but most will need the box to be rooted first.
Not tested, but see here: https://play.google.com/store/search?q=samba%20server&c=apps&hl=en_GB
I advise trying testing the first few.
This topic is not really Q10 Pro related so I'm going to move it to general. :)

Sorry about putting in the wrong thread. :-[ I appreciate you're answer though! I was hoping it was something simple like maybe the Q10 Pro had some Samba software preinstalled or something. I have an old WDTV box that showed up on my network like the Q10 does but for someone reason the other droid box I have doesn't. They should all make it like the Q10 Pro where it's just a simple setting to have it show up on the network!

Android doesn't have Samba server support built in by default, so it has to be added by the manufacturer. Most don't!
The apps I linked to do work though, just most need root.
