Title: Use Wifi-Direct to transfer file
Post by: Transit266 on September 08, 2016, 03:03:36 AM
Have anyone ever try to send file via Wifi-Direct on Himedia Q10 Pro? If so could you guys tell me how to turn on Wifi Direct to connect to an Android phone? If compatible, the transfer speed can reach to 250Mbps as I was told, which is very convenient.

As far as I'm aware Wi-Fi Direct is not possible on Q5/Q10 Pro.

Thank .. Since Miracast use Wifi-direct protocol (and it is compatible with my phone), I thought that transfer file via Wifi-Direct is possible. Anyway, I can still transfer file with ES file explorer with 2MB/s (via wifi LAN)

For faster transfers I recommend using FTP. 'primitive ftpd' is free in Play Store, has lot's of options, and is very fast.
