Dear All,
I have purchased the Q10 Pro and am very happy with its performance and have upgraded to latest 1.07 firmware. I am now attempting to connect my external Transcend drive via USB.
The drive turns on, begins whirring to read disk inside. However, no drive or media shows up on menu for navigating to movie files on disc. I am trying to read a dvd data disc which has 6 mkv movie files in it.
Can people who have had success with this please share some information on how it worked for them, procedure followed, brands which work etc. Also where in the menu does the disc show up?
Any info forthcoming would be helpful.
Thanks for this great forum.

Hello, I was able to get both DVD-data and BD-data disks working fine, but they only show up on file-browser (not inside the applications). Have you tried looking over there ? you have to open file browser only after you insert the disk.

You have to use the internal file explorer.

Thanks for the tip guys!! I found the DVD file directory through the internal file explorer. Could play files fine.
Wish this was a feature builtbinto the main menu. Will try if other ones like ES file explorer work too.
Overall its great that this feature even exists. Q10 Pro rocks...
