I have last updated to 1.0.5(Over the air). Since then I am not able to update to any other firmware neither through local upgrade nor through pin method. It always starts and ends with a red exclamation mark on the android . I have tried all the suggested methods using fat formatted usb.
Any suggestions?
I am so fed up that If I cannot fix this issue in a couple of days I will get rid of it and will never buy again this junk.

worse for you. the q10 pro is the best media player in history. you are a beginner. software change is not made over the air, but by following the written procedure in the manual. or by pressing the button with a pencil in the back next to the power and the ever-usb. Furthermore I have updated to the 1.0.5 firmware then at 06.01 and now at 1.0.7 with no problems. are you that you are a rookie

It definitely works. Maybe try a factory reset from box menu (Settings - More - Backup&reset) first.

I gave it another try. Still the same. It shows android logo and then red exclamation mark and boots into os again. Tried factory reset and even that is not working..shows android logo and then comes back into os.
I will try to put it on amazon,eaby and see if someone is interested to buy.

Firstly are you sure you are using the correct firmware for the hardware you have? Eg using European firmware on European hardware?
Then I would try using the pin method using the very first firmware release.
As for the guy calling you a rookie @oxana. Ignore him. You can upgrade via online and menus on the Q10. I always use this method unless I want a completely clean install of latest firmware, as in remove all apps settings I have on Q10.

I suspect you didn't and that you might have Chinese version hardware..

That was the first thing that came to mind reading OP
