Title: Is there anyway to sync the audio to video being watched on kodi
Post by: Origami2 on April 16, 2015, 06:48:13 AM
When playing any movie from kodi addons the audio or the actors talking is not in sync with the video. It's close but about 1 second delayed so it makes watching dialog between several people in a movie quite uncomfortable.

It shouldn't be like that. What file formats? And how are you connected to the speakers (HDMI / S/PDIF / RCA)?

For individual files you can alter the audio offset in Kodi. Whilst playing a video bring up the playback menu (OK on remote or left click on mouse). Select the volume icon (third from right). The resultant menu has an 'audio offset' setting.

But there shouldn't be general sync problems except perhaps on old divx avi which has the occasional issue on all platforms.

Ok thank you. I'll look into that.
