Title: Wrapper with DVD Folder - is there a new hope?
Post by: oktober on July 20, 2016, 03:21:27 PM
After many search, i don't find any solution on "Video Problem" when attempt to start plays a DVD Folder's structure in Kodi + Wrapper.

Is there a new hope to solve this?

I get a 'video problem' message pop up but the ISO plays? Is this the same as you?

If so I will request the message is removed.

Seems that I have the same issue.  When I try to start a DVD-copy  from Kodi with wrapper turned on (not *.iso, but a folder, which contains a video_ts folder with *.vob, *.ifo etc.) by pressing menu button on remote control on this FOLDER and choosing play function, it starts HMP but then there's a message: "video problem" with "confirm" button below the message. When I press this button, it goes back to Kodi and nothing happens after.

When (in Kodi) I go in this FOLDER and start  just one *.vob FILE  it  plays well in HMP.

When I start the same FOLDER  to play in HMP (not from Kodi through wrapper), it plays fine also.

I'm talking about DVD Files Structure (VIDEO_TS / AUDIO_TS Files) not ISO.
When i'm in Kodi and press OK on DVD Folder that contains upper directory, Wrapper starts HMP, and then pop up a "Video Problem - Confirm" windows. When press on Confirm, it closes and return to media list.

Some post ago, you said probably was a arguments passing by Kodi to HMP problem. So on a OK on DVD Folder, Kodi pass an odd arguments to HMP, it isn't able to process that arguments and then respond with "Video Problem" Message, without playing.

Hope i was clear (my english is awful)  ::)

Your English is better than my 'any non-English', don't worry about it.  :)

Problem understood and passed to the HiMedia.
