Title: YouTube stuttering problem at Q10 quad

Just got my Q10 quad with 1.0.7. I have installed YouTube from PlayMarket. The video is stuttering on all videos. Same time looking smooth  on Minix. Is there any special version of YouTube for this device?

This problem is present on Q5IV also (discussed at 4PDA). It looks like GPU problem. I've installed Viral, uncheck "GPU acceleration" and all YouTube videos are playing smooth now.

Has anybody found the solution for YouTube video stuttering at Q5 and 10? I'm still forced to use Viral instead of YouTube to be able to watch video smoothly.

Hi Futeko, I can not believe that I'm the only one with this problem. I have 1.0.7.EN with standard YouTube from the PlayMarket. And it is stuttering severely in all videos. Especially it is evident in panoramic picture movements. Please check if with 1.0.9.1 with pre-installed Youtube this problem persists or not. Thanks.

Youtube is watchable but not perfect in 1.0.9.1. Himedia know about it and will hopefully fix it. A lot of fixes require an update to the chipset firmware from Hisilicon, this could be another. We wait, Himedia wait.

Ti All,

please check how smooth the YouTube is with new 3.0.1. So far the feedbacks are really contradictory.
