Title: System UI has stopped error
Post by: FunkOdyssey on June 30, 2016, 11:20:57 PM
I received my Q5 pro and haven't noticed any obvious stuttering problems so that's good.  However, I am frequently encountering a problem where shortly after the unit boots up, it says "System UI has stopped", and hitting OK only results in the error repeating infinitely, until the unit is shut off.  Turning it off and on again seems to fix it temporarily.

Any solutions?  Has anyone else encountered this?

Hello,

I used to get this error sometimes after bunging new roms on phones.
If I remember right I used to fix it by clearing the Cache partition in the recovery.
It would usually do it once more upon boot but then after a restart it was gone.
I'm not sure if its possible to do this on these boxes though as I haven't had time to play about with mine yet.

This is a recognised occasional problem with current firmware and will be fixed in next firmware. We have a beta for next firmware where it is fixed.
