Title: Stuck at Boot and cannot install FW
Post by: jxupi on February 16, 2021, 09:45:19 PM
Hello,

after some weeks with OFW 2.1.7 I noticed that my Q10 Pro was showing "boot" text at LCD screen.
Turned on my TV and Q10Pro is showing HIMEDIA screen and rebooting all the time.

Tryed to reinstall OFW with paperclip method, with LCD showing 0000 and at the middle of the installing bar started booting again and again.

What can I do?
it seems it bricked by itself!!!

At lease is show 0000, are not brick, try flash with few USB pen flash and SEMI-OFFICIAL version.

Remember to extract update.zip from downloaded archived file as futeko always have pack update.zip and readme.txt files in one archive with long name.

actually when i press the upgrade button with the paper clip it's flashing 0000 and boot.
Tried with many firmwares.
Each time, after some trials it shows the circle and update bar, but at the middle it changes to Himedia and  shows boot again

any other idea?

Try other power adaptor.
Before copy to USB flash check if update.zip is not damaged.
USB flash size max 32GB then can try to format as NTFS. Try on USB2.0 for my look more stable to install FW.
Check twice file name is update.zip and not update.zip.zip because windows hide extensions for known file types.

At last option can give try recovery with shortcut circuit

Tried the first option with another power supply from SAT receiver and seems it is working
I'll keep watching it with the "new" PSU before buying a new one.

Thanks for the recommendations.
