Title: TLBB Once click Setup - OK to try?
Post by: advb69 on April 01, 2016, 01:56:51 PM
Hi,

My box came with TLLB One Click Setup pre-installed.  However, when I started to run it, it advises that it is a test version and shouldn't be used.

If I were to run it, would a factory reset take the box back to its original state?  Or is it not even worth running TLLB One Click Setup?

Thanks!

TLBB one click setup is broken and shouldn't be run. If you did run it then results would be unpredictable and you might have to reinstall firmware.

Ah - I did start running it and then cancelled the process.  It is probably best then if I re-install the firmware just in case.

How do I do this?

I assume that I have to use the link to the firmware in an earlier post (http://www.mediafire.com/download/tw6jxstv9tly45d/OpenELEC-TLBB.V3b.arm-
6.0.0.zip) but I'm not clear what I need to do with the zip file.

Thanks.

Extract the contents of the zip to a micro-SD card (3 files). Power up the V3 (switch on back) with the micro-SD card inserted and and the restore button (under LAN port) on the back pressed.

Thank you.  That worked perfectly.
