Hy,
as the title suggests ... it's possible to root on X20 with firmware 12/7/2019. X20 2.2.82?

This apk will root Z9S/Z10/X20/X20 Pro/Z1000 with Android 7.1 firmware 2.2.65 or later:

After root the box firmware cannot be updated in the normal way and the user takes all responsibility for any problems. The warranty is voided.

I've just tested it on an X20 Pro running firmware 2.2.96 and it works.

What is the advantage of rooted device. Is it possible install some alternative firmware?
