Do you have or could you have news about a new version of "my collection"?Something seems to be in the workx for it but a new GUI (old still configurable) seems to come first?

In case nobody noticed:Yeah looking promising. The only problem I have with it is the word "soon" used. I learned over time the hard way that "soon" in chinese is not the equivalent from imminent (=in a few days) it is more an intention and statement that it is being worked on. Inpractice it can be any amount of time being days, weeks even months.

In contrary to with Zidoo installing Alpha versions is pretty safe and easy with Dune. If you don't like them then just reinstall any previous version! They are typically also very stable with hardly any faults for things that worked correctly before. You might want to consider this as the frequency of even Beta releases is low compared with e.g. Zidoo.
This is the one with the new GUI partially implemented. To answer the question: yes I installed it myself.

It offers what is claimed by Dune as far I saw thus far.
But this one is a real Alpha FW. Install it if you are curious and above all if you are willing to report to Dune. Music Player plays but just shows a black screen. Personally I went back!

Hi just received my pro vision 4k solo, loaded r18 i understand it an Alpha release, but disappointed in how clunky and unnecessarily frustrating it is to get to my media like the go to my collection, then "all" then scroll across 16 movies then click for all wall :(, and the lack of sort by, and unable to get my collection full wall at start1) Being at the topline main menu you can press Pop-up menu and disable any streaming services you don't want to get included.
any idea on when we will see an update to R18 ??

Fingers crossed R18 is actively being worked on and improved, sorry for the negative feeling just the Solo was £350 and the software side is nowhere close to sub £200 devices, maybe i've come into dune hd not knowing what it isI feel they literally copied the Netflix model which is not a bad thing to do as a start as people are very familiar with it. The handling of categories obviously needs a more flexible approach with local content.

Yes I did! For now 2 problems! The sort in My Collection is broken and the screen saver is not working anymore!there wasn't a sort in previous version ? it only allowed a-z
thanks for your advice. Problem solved. Used now hdmi cable Dune instead of my own expensive hdmi cable. Machine works now. :)

Not easier to use the screensaver on the TV instead? On my OLED TV it can't even be turned off.So you mean it's the Dune screen saver that "crash" the playback?
Known issue with the new GUI?
I pause the file/movie.
After 1 minute, the screen saver starts. (I have an OLED, so don't want burn-ins :) )
Then it eventually just jumps back to the main menu.
When I go into the movie again, one has to fast forward to where I paused.
Subtitles must also be selected again, ss it has erased every progress/history from memory.
Incredibly annoying.
I tried the new GUI again, because it fixes the "subtitles sticks after file exit" issue.
Tested now with both Dune and Apple TV screen saver disabled.
The LG OLED tv's screen saver didn't launch when either of them were paused.
I don't think it works with external devices? Just with integrated apps? (the screen saver worked when the internal Netflix app was paused)
