Greetings fellows,,
Recently I noticed that I can't open the google play and stopped working... I also noticed that Netflix function similarly,, May I know whats is the problem of this device....
-
Impossible to say without knowing a lot more about what else is installed / firmware version etc.
It is always possible to restore a device by doing a firmware reinstall.

No problems here with Google Play. Just tested it and it's working perfectly. Try:
Settings > Android Settings > Apps > Google Play Store > Force Stop > then "Clear Data" and "Clear Cache"
Then try running Google Play again. If it still doesn't work try doing the same for the Google Play Services app.
You will then have to enter your Google username and password.

I followed your suggestion but I can;t force stop the google play as the slot for disable and force stop is shaded.
BTW, I did follow the troubleshooting procedure on the google play services but unfortunately I was unuccessfull

BTW, since I bought it last year I have never updated the firm ware.... Could that also be the reason for the problem.. If so , I there a DIY method.. as I tried upgrading it OTA it says its the latest version....

Hello guys, I appreciate the information how to upgrade firmware. But what made me reluctant to do it is I realized my unit is an Asian version ,nota European one.It was bought in Manila. Is there an Asian version for the firmware update. Is there no other way to retrieve the digital clock work appearance on my Himedia q10 pro.?

After updating to FW 2.1.1 the Play Store works fine...
but... i have many problems with stutterig when playing 24Hz HDR content.

I recently updated my firmware using the links provided by an Himedia manufacturer in China which was suited for my Asian country bought Q10 pro Initially it did not resolved my problem but after doing a second factory reset,, things turned positive ( all my expectations). I recovered the" clock facade"of this device. The playstore and other apps function normally.
I am reporting this thinking that someone might experience a peculiar problem as mine and information that resolved my issue..
