Well. PGS work on half of the uhd movies I try
But the ones that dont display. They do appear in the sub browse meny 1/5 subtitles but when I choose it still dont display on half pf the movies

When I download the SRT version and put it in same folder and use same file name ofc

I can see the srt in the sub meny and when I choose it the movie still dont show any

srt will work.

a possibility u acidentally set the position of the subs wrong, too far down, out of the screen.

try adjusting that see...

For DTS-HD and TrueHD audio passthrough via HDMI, you need to enable RAW in audio settings and use the "wrapper" (playercorefactory.xml) to play from Kodi.
This starts the "external player" high quality player (MediaCenter), which is built-in.

Yes. My audio is raw
I get subtitles on 50% of movies with wrapper and I get dts hd
With kodi player I get no dts-hd but I get subtitles

If I fan make kodi player do dtshd I have no more problems
:)
But I cant make it

With KODI Player you won't have HD audio nor proper frequency switching, so better stick with the Wrapper.

So, recently I've also discovered some problem with embedded PGS subtitles. Very often it skips lines, or lines staying frozen, stuck on the screen. I've only experienced once so far, so I will do some further testing. These subs work well on PC with MPCHC, so it's definitely not the subtitles fault.
Maybe it's a new bug (again >:() in the latest FW.

External PGS subs tho' still working fine.

What I've also noticed, that PGS subs (both external and embedded) taking a bit of time to "load" and don't appear on screen suddenly after selecting.  And also that sometimes they don't load at at all at first selection, but after a multiple tries, re-selecting them again, or by circling through the other subs and back again to the PGS makes them load and appear correctly.  I guess It's now can be considered as some bug with PGS subs and worth to be reported to HiMedia for fixing.

(I use Blu-Ray .sup PGS format renamed to .ass as external subs).

Finally! Some experience problems

I have seen these on half of all movies tested.

The SRT external and the embedded ones wont display. Not even if i spam cycle them.

50% of all 4k movies tested.
