You can still extract from it using 7zip or whatever; it wouldn't hurt to have the propper extension to avoid any confusion, but it's not a problem.

It was easy to fix.

Download links have now been added for both the migration firmware and the 2.0.0 version Android 7 firmware.

Kind Regards!

The pre-installed version is latest final 16.1.

Play Store may indicate that it's version is an update but in fact it's the same.

So it makes no difference at this stage whether you run pre-installed 16.1 or Play Store 16.1. Personally I'd wait until Kodi 17 is in Play Store and update to that. Or try Kodi 17 beta. It's quite stable and runs well on Q5/Q10 Pro with wrapper.

Thanks for the advice, I'll wait for final 17; I already started to set it up and I guess I'll have to do that again after an update.

Yes, it was possible with the beta, it should be possible with this version. I see that the link for the downgrade is not there in the beta firmware topic. I think this version should be better at least from Android's perspective. There should not be any downgrade. Maybe someone else has that link for the downgrade firmware.

HELP PLEASE!!!   :o

I am trying to update to firmware 2.0 without success. Currently I have the custom firmware 1.08 made by Pcristi, and I have tried several tiemes with the first step, I can manage to go until it shows the android green logo but it only last about 5 seconds and there is no line progress, then it boots much slower than before taking about 2-3 minutes and I still have the custom firmware 1.08, only that now everything is really slow. No matter what I do. I have even done a factory reset and started over again.
Another issue is that I can only make the Q10 boot and go to the Android recovery logo if I pull out the charger cable and then stick in again with the reset buttom pressed otherwise it doesn't turn on!

edit: I also have tried with 2 different FAT32 formatted pen drives (up to now never had any problems updating the firmware for Q10, this would be my 4th upgrade)
