HiMedia M6

Hi,

New here, apologies if Im asking in the wrong place.
I have a M6 Himedia player. I tried installing 'hicontrol 5 english' on a samsung s7edge but everytime i click on the ip address it says 'unfortunaetely, HiControl has stopped'. and app closes. any help appreciated.
N.B. I've installed same app on a samsung note 4 and Honor 7 phone with no problem.

where did you get the version of hicontrol from?

M6 is based on same chipset as our Q5/Q10/M3 4K3D so you could try this version of HiControl meant for them: http://www.mediafire.com/download/9yjnh5wykn2gl81/HiControl_hmd.apk

However, it might be the same as the one you've already tried.

Hicontrol for Q5/Q10 Pro is here, but I doubt it will work with your M6: http://www.mediafire.com/download/8uilxt0hv70j5lo/HiControl_hmdCV200.apk
